Liar’s Club Pinocchio Award

I was told that The Liar’s Club was the most prestigious collective on the planet, and that this trophy was its most distinguished honor to ever be bestowed. It was given to the company or individual responsible for the biggest lie of the year, and was appropriately represented by the ultimate lie measuring stick, Pinocchio’s nose. This, of course, is a replica of the original nose and was made by the Ritz Shite Marker company in England. It’s accompanied by a bust of the famous liar and titular hero of the trophy, and all are mounted on a fine marble base made in Italy.

It truly is a one-of-a-kind artifact, emphasis on the art, not necessarily the fact, but that’s the nature of the beast when it comes to lying, isn’t it? Anybody actually worthy of the dubious honor would undoubtedly be tight-lipped about it. Alternatively, if they were braggadocious, would you believe their boasts? Inherently not.
